🎓 KCET 2025 Results Declared:

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) officially announced the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 results on May 24, 2025.  The announcement was made by Higher Education Minister Dr. M.C. Sudhakar at 11:30 AM, with scorecards becoming available for download from 2:00 PM onwards on the official websites: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and karresults.nic.in  .

📅 Exam and Result Timeline

• Exam Dates: April 15 to 17, 2025
• Result Declaration: May 24, 2025
• Scorecard Availability: From 2:00 PM on May 24, 2025
• Kannada Language Test Result: April 25, 2025 

📈 How to Check Your KCET 2025 Result

1. Visit the official KEA website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in or karresults.nic.in.

2. Click on the "KCET 2025 Result" link.

3. Enter your registration number and the first four characters of your name.

4. Click on "Submit" to view your result.

5. Download and print your scorecard for future reference  .

📉 Notable Trends: Decline in Eligibility

This year, there has been a noticeable decline in the number of students eligible for professional courses: 

Engineering Courses: Eligibility dropped to 2.62 lakh students from over 2.7 lakh the previous year.

BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences): Eligibility decreased to just under 2 lakh from nearly 2.2 lakh.

BSc (Agriculture): Saw a drop of over 20,000 eligible students. 

Minister Dr. M.C. Sudhakar attributed this decline to 15,000 fewer students passing the II PUC science exam compared to 2024  .

📝 For Candidates with Withheld Results

Some candidates' results were withheld due to incorrect or missing registration numbers.  These students can update their information online starting May 26, 2025.  The KEA will issue spot ranks for these candidates from May 29, 2025  .

🗓 Upcoming Counseling Process

Following the result declaration, the KEA will commence the counseling process for seat allotment in various undergraduate professional courses.  Qualified candidates should regularly check the official KEA websites for updates on the counseling schedule, required documentation, and other pertinent details  .
